Call it "do-it-yourself", "spontaneous creativity", "outsider art", you name it, but what matters is that you like it. Sticker art, street art, posters, prints on paper, silk print on t-shirts and fabric, postcards, hang tags, shoppers, pins, websites, publications, CD artwork, illustration, visual poetry and more.
Sugar Babe graphic productions draw their inspiration from the street life and the fascination for the `20s and `30s avant-garde movements. Like French Situationists, Sugar Babe likes to wonder in the labyrinths of big metropolis leaving traces to mark her presence and communicate with the surrounding.
"As independent curator of exhibitions Mapping the City, Risque d`attente and Fashionable discourse, as well as a friend and colleague, I had the privilege and opportunity to work closely with Elena Skoko aka Sugar Babe, exhibit her works dealing with issues of contemporary fashion design and its social impact on urban environment and different cities through the media of video, photography, sound, visual poetry and both fashion and graphic design (para-site sticker), as well as to follow her artistic and aesthetic development. She was always bringing a fresh perspective dealing with different subjects."
